IT

How did you get the opportunity to join the litigation support community?

Temporary contract to fill in for a departing litigation support person.

Right away.

Do you prefer to be out in front and working with the clients or behind the scenes working with the technologies?

I like to keep active in both areas. For me, the clients are the attorneys and paralegals. It is important to understand what the team is trying to accomplish and how you can apply technologies, goods and services to help them meet those goals.

  • Service Provider

Litigation Support is a well-paying career. How much has your salary increased since joining the litigation support community?

$30,000 – $40,000

How many years have you been working in Litigation Support?

10

Care to share any words of encouragement or advice?

Watch at least one webinar a month, if not more. Regardless of what software and services you use, you should be aware and somewhat knowledgeable about the options. Finally, remember that the litigation support professional can make or break a case. In short order, the rest of the legal team will know this, too.
